This Weeks PSP Wallpapers, 7/31/07

This week I finally got to work on some gaming themed wallpapers for Sony's PSP. I used a screen shot from Heavenly Sword and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune to create these PSP wallpapers. Both wallpapers are sized at 482 x 272 at 96 dpi. I just don't feel these types of wallpapers are very creative so I don't do many of them. Though I think I will release a couple based on up and coming games every once in awhile, just to give my PSP Wallpaper Gallery some variety. Anyhow, click on either image to be taken directly to that images download page or check out my entire PSP Wallpaper Gallery. Enjoy!

This Weeks PSP Wallpapers - 7/24/07

This weeks PSP wallpapers are fractals done in Sterling and enhanced with Paint.net (a great free image editor). These Sony PSP Wallpapers are sized 482 x 272 at 96 dpi. I am working on other wallpapers and will probably post them up by this weekend. I have started a couple based on up and coming games for the Sony PS3, you will have to just wait and see what they are... Anyhow, click on either image to be taken directly to that images download page or check out my entire PSP Wallpaper Gallery. Enjoy!

Once again it is Tuesday, time for a couple of new wallpapers for Sony's PSP. This weeks wallpapers are both fractals created using Sterling sized at 482 x 272 at 96 dpi. Microsoft Enhancing Warranty for Red Ring of Death

Just read a report on Unscripted 360 about Microsoft expanding the warranty for Xbox 360s that suffered from the three flashing red lights on the console. Peter Moore has issued an Open Letter to the Xbox community that states the warranty is being enhanced to three years for the three red flashing lights indicating general hardware failure. I gotta say, this couldn't have come at a better time for me! Thanks Peter! To read more about it, check out the Warranty FAQ.

Steorn Free Clean Energy Demo

In August last year I posted about Steorn and their new clean constant energy source announcement. Well it seems Steorn is back with the World's First Free-Energy Demonstration in which they are allowing the public to see their technology demo. The exhibition at the Kinetica Museum, in East London, is open to the public from Thursday 5th until Friday 13th July. They have also set up a couple of web cams in which you can view the technology demo live online. The problem, so far, is they have not been able to make it work for the public. It seems they are experiencing technical difficulties, a quote from the site:
We are experiencing some technical difficulties with the demo unit in London. Our initial assessment indicates that this is probably due to the intense heat from the camera lighting. We have commenced a technical assessment and will provide an update later today. As a consequence, Kinetica will not be open to the public today (5th July). We apologise for this delay and appreciate your patience.
Though the web cams seem to be live, on cam 3 you can check out what is going on in the background and see some movement once in awhile, it makes you wonder if this is just a red herring. If you are interested, go check it out at the World's First Free-Energy Demonstration. Here is hoping they get it all working. Clean energy would indeed benefit us all.

New Halo 3 Interview & Screenshots

IGN.com has a great interview posted called Halo 3: In-depth Bungie Q&A in which they talk with Jaime Griesemer and Tyson Green about different aspects of the forthcoming game. Another article recently posted is Halo 3: Beyond the Beta in which they detail some of Halo 3's multiplayer maps and some of the new additions to the Halo universe such as tech and vehicles.

Over the past few days Bungie has released a ton of new renders and Screenshots for Halo 3. The images posted are big at 3840 x 2160 allowing you to see some great details. I have reformatted four of the images, one from each level, available at Bungie.net and posted them below. These images are just a few available for the four different multiplayer maps and one new vehicle, the Brute Chopper, at Bungie.net:

Happy Independence Day!

What an awesome holiday in the United States, Independence Day, the day we celebrate our independence from Great Britain. July 4th, 1776 was the day when the twelve colonies voted for adoption and released a copy of the Declaration of Independence signed by John Hancock, President of the Congress. We Americans celebrate this holiday in many different ways: Parades, Barbecues, Picnics, Concerts, and since 1777 Fireworks! I hope you have a wonderful celebration, whatever you and your loved ones may be doing this holiday, and take the time to remember just why we celebrate such a momentous occasion.

To commemorate this day, I have a couple of new wallpapers I should have released as the weekly PSP wallpapers yesterday but I decided this week was special so you get four wallpapers for the week instead. You can find both PSP wallpapers in my PSP Wallpaper Gallery or click the pictures to be taken directly to the download page.

This Weeks PSP Wallpapers 7-03-07

I hope a couple of new PSP wallpapers a week will help keep things interesting. I will try to release two new wallpapers every Tuesday. This week I have one fractal based wallpaper and one 3d rendered wallpaper made with Terragen. Terragen is a 3D program for creating photo realistic terrains. The fractal was most likely done with the program Sterling but I am not positive on this, I used to use so many fractal programs and this image is one of my older ones so your guess is almost as good as mine on which program I used. Both images are formatted at 482 x 272 at 96 dpi for use as wallpaper for the Sony Playstation Portable. Click on either image to be taken to the download page or my PSP Wallpaper Gallery to see all available wallpapers.
